Save the Date: Perioperative Nurse Day at the Capitol 2024

Good Morning, 

It is time to promote legislative awareness again. Start by going to https://capitol.texas.gov/.  There, you can enter your name and address to find who represents you at the local, state, and national levels. Please take a moment to drop each of them a line to let them know you are a perioperative registered nurse and offer to be a resource for them.  This is also a great time to tell them what you do as a perioperative registered nurse. When you write to your state senators and representatives, mention our upcoming surgical smoke evacuation bill and why this bill must be passed.
