RN - Medsurg New

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an Exciting Potential Opportunity for a Medical Surgical RN to support Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) in Houston, TX.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Education: Must have graduated from a school of nursing that was approved and/or accredited by the appropriate State agency and accredited by either the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) at the time the program was completed, or in the case of graduates from foreign schools of professional nursing, possession of current, unrestricted license as described herein will also meet the basic education requirement.
• Experience: One (1) year experience in Critical Care Nursing
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS 

Job Duties not limited to:

• The Registered Nurse (RN) will use their clinical expertise to assess patients, promote health and prevention, manage both acute and chronic conditions, support rehabilitation, and provide end-of-life care as needed. They will monitor and evaluate patient responses to care and help patients achieve their highest level of functioning. All care will be delivered in accordance with the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
