Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Nurse RN Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab Department for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. An Electrophysiology (EP) Lab RN, working within a cardiac catheterization lab (Cath Lab), specializes in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm problems (arrhythmias). Procedures typically includes ablations, pacemakers and defibrillators. The RN EP role involves preparing patients for electrophysiology studies, assisting during procedures, and providing post-procedure care. This includes administering medication administration, hemodynamic monitoring, and emotional support. They also play a vital role in maintaining a sterile and safe environment within the lab.

What You Will Do in Your Role:

You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients

You will assist with all procedures in the EP Lab

You will administer medications to EP Lab patients

You will monitor patient status to ensure optimal patient outcome

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• NIH Stroke Scale
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• 1 year RN experience in Cath Lab setting
